PubMed Training
I just attended a free training session entitled "Keeping Up with PubMed" offered by the National Library of Medicine and the National Institutes of Health. The four hour training session was well worth the time. Included in the session are actual practical exercises and a very useful manual for future reference. The trainer Ruicha Mishra is one of our own, a member of our chapter of SLA and the South Central Region trainer for NLM. She is located at HAM-TMC Library ruicha.mishra@exch.library.tmc.edu. If any of you are looking for training in this area I would recommend it to you.
